Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: 1. Understand the use of stand and stage design. 2. Understand the importance of sound in production and sound design. 3. Know the basics of lighting from both a practical and creative viewpoint. 4. Think through the value and importance of Theme in staging an event. 5. Be able to commission outside specialists in building, and producing an event. 6. Understand the placing of cameras, live feeds to plasma screens, sound feeds to cameras and co-operation with television outside broadcast units on larger events. 7. Understand the logistics of producing and staging an event.
