Use codes of practice and/or guidance documents to aid in interpretation statutes and statutory instruments.
Contribute to the selection of the most appropriate risk reduction options. Reflect critically on a variety of information sources associated with safety and health.
On successful completion of the Event Health and Safety Management module learners will be expected to :
Pose searching questions to health and safety industry experts.
Produce an assessment based on independent group research with appropriate in-text referencing.
Apply safety health & welfare knowledge in a practical manner to various event scenarios.
Show concern for others in the class and in the group while learning.
Conduct a simple hazard identification and risk assessment exercise in a safety and health learning facility.
Engage in dialogue about how the student learns safety and health information. Source electronically and hard copy, up to date and relevant health, safety & welfare legislation.
