Module Description

This module introduces students to food safety traing and food hygiene and safety auditing techniques. To build competence in the development, assessment, management and evaluation of food safety systems.

Indicative Syllabus

Review of Food Chain Hazards, Introduction to Food Hygiene & Safety Auditing. Training Levels and requirements. British Retail Consortium Global Food Standard. Other relevant and contemporary topics.
