Learning Outcomes
On Completion of this module, the learner will be able to
1.Understand the concept of The Environmental Determinants of Health Paradigm.
2. Design a needs assessment approach within a selected community group.
3. Prepare a community based model of intervention based on specific policy documents and professional guidelines regarding best practice.
4. Deliver the designed programme to a community group.
5. Evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention.
6. Understand the aim of health promotion as the process of enabling people to increase control over their own health and it's determinants.
