Module Description

A period of planned work experience in a relevant industry or research establishment.

Module Aims

To expose the student to the organisation and management of an industrial production/research facility. To provide the student with an opportunity to apply in an industrial setting the skills, understanding and concepts studied in the course curriculum<br>To develop in students the ability to integrate different subject areas in production/research. To allow students to benefit from the skills/expertise of food industry professionals.

Indicative Syllabus

Guidelines for industrial placement and preparation of industrial report.
Industrial placement/work experience review.
Oral presentation of industrial report.
