Overview
This course will be divided into two distinct yet complementary components. The first component consists of a hands-on approach to database design while the second component entails providing the student with a comprehensive understand of the many components involved in Industry Specific application software (Hospitality, Tourism, Leisure & Event Management).
Module AimsThe aim of the module is to provide the student with a comprehensive understanding of the many components involved in the design, development and delivery of the Hospitality, Tourism or Leisure Product through the use of both generic and Industry Specific Application Software (Hospitality, Tourism, Leisure or Event Management).

Database - Application Creation. Hardware. Software. Networks & Communication Technology. Data Management Issues (Including the Data Protection Act, and Data Privacy and Security) Industry Application Software (Hospitality, Tourism, Leisure or Event Management).
