Learning & Teaching Methods

Broad seminar topics will be identified by the lecturer in conjunction with students, and industry guest speakers from across the hospitality, tourism, leisure and event sectors will be invited to discuss the current hot topic.
It is envisaged that in advance of each seminar, groups will reflect on the assigned reading material and will draw significantly on their reports completed as part of their prior internship or professional experience in the tourism, hospitality, leisure and event sectors.
Student groups will be formed with 3-4 groups in each.
This module will incorporate elements of the Get Smart! initiative.
