Overview
This is a Stage 2 module on the programme Higher certificate in Food Science and Management where students will carry out an applied research project focused primarily on food product development. The module requires students, whom will be working in teams, to apply their food science, business, communications and culinary skills acquired throughout the programme to develop economically viable food products characterised as being safe, nutritious and convenient.
