Module Description

This course is designed to focus on the management of transport operations from a tourism perspective. The focus is on the strategic management issues that affect both passenger and freight transport. The course will address travel management at national level (the implementation of transport policy and infrastructural investment), at the level of the various types of transport firms (strategic and operational management and addressing competitive forces) and from the point of view of the consumer (issues of demand, e.g. service characteristics and price).
