Learning Outcomes

On completion the learner will be able to: 1. Determine the important contribution business tourism makes in the context of the broader tourism sector 2. Analyse the structure of business tourism. 3. Appraise and evaluate a conference/meeting event plan 4. Appraise and evaluate an incentive programme 4. Examine the key trends and developments in the business tourism sector. 5. Investigate, discuss and present on a range of topical issues affecting business travel (e.g. female business travellers, corporate travel agents changing roles, the impact of travel policies on traveller behaviour) 6. Manage and evaluate his/her learning in this area.
