What is Bachelor Engineering Tec (Ord) Electronic and Computer Systems?

This programme is accredited by Engineers Ireland (EI) as satisfying the educational standards required for registration of Associate Engineers It is designed to provide graduates of certificate-level courses (NQAI Level 6), or persons with equivalent qualifications, with an opportunity to pursue their studies to ordinary degree level (NQAI Level 7). This technician programme has a strong systems perspective, which is intended to develop the student's knowledge and technical abilities in the areas of computer & communications engineering, software and Web development and industrial electronics systems. The programme is divided into core and elective modules and it is of two years duration requiring attendance two-three evenings per week. Elective modules modules run subject to demand and include: + Instrumentation & Automatic Test Systems + Music Technology + Communication Networks (CISCO CCNA) + Web Development (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Students may be required to attend classes at locations across the Institute.
