What is Master of Engineering Mechanical Engineering?

This programme is aimed at providing mechanical engineering graduates and graduates from suitable engineering and related science backgrounds with specialised skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering. The programme consists of 12 taught modules and a research project module and focuses, in particular, on numerical simulation techniques, renewable and sustainable energy technologies and biomechanics. The programme award is a Masters of Engineering (M.E.) degree, with an option to exit the programme with a Postgraduate Diploma (Pg.Dip). Graduates of the programme will be ideally suited to engage in advanced mechanical engineering research, analysis and design.

Students may be required to attend classes at locations across the Institute.
