What is Master of Science Accounting?

This programme is offered on a full time basis (one year) commencing September. It is designed for honours (2.2 or better) graduates in accounting. It is aimed at those wishing to further their studies in accounting and who may wish to prepare for a career as a professional accountant. Those commencing the programme with exemption from CAP 1 ICA (I) will, on successfully completing the programme and meeting other requirements, be eligible for exemption from Cap 2 ICA(I). It will also equip its graduates to successfully complete the examinations of the other major accounting bodies (ACCA, CIMA CPA (I)) operating in Ireland. The programme will also develop the skills and competencies required to undertake independent research in the areas of accounting and related areas

Students may be required to attend classes at locations across the Institute.
