What is Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Early Childhood Education?

Early Childhood Education (ECE) generally refers to the care and education of children from birth to six years of age. The Early Childhood practitioner needs to understand many facets of young children's development and how best to plan and implement programmes that address children's needs in a holistic way.


Students may be required to attend classes at locations across the Institute.
