This programme has been planned in response to a need in Industry for a masters degree programme that addresses the technology of sustaibale electrical energy systems and the issues sorrounding their integration into elactrical power systems. The main themes covered are:elactrical power systems analysis, renewable electrical energy technology, power electronics, distributed generation, energy markets and global issues surrounding the supply and demand of energy. The programme is aimed at graduate engineers who would like to continue their studies and at engineers who are currently working in the elactrical/electronic and related industries who would like to move into an engineering role in the electrical energy systems area
Students may be required to attend classes at locations across the Institute.
