Research Assistant wanted for an exciting EU Solar PV Project
DIT Hothouse has an immediate opportunity to recruit a Research Assistant to assist in developing the commercial summaries and value propositions for solar technologies developed in a €6 million, 12 partner pan-European research project called “PhotoVoltaic Cost reduction, Reliability, Operational performance, Prediction and Simulation " (PVCROPS).
The successful candidate will be required to work with a high performance research commercialisation team within DIT Hothouse, and coordinate with researchers on a pan-European project. The successful candidate must have an Honours Degree from an approved degree awarding institution or equivalent in Electrical/Energy. This is a fulltime appointment for 6 months duration.
The purpose of this position is to assist the PVCROPS project team in developing commercial summaries and value propositions through the review and analysis of new research technologies and detailed market research including competitor and customer analyses. The appointee will also be required to identify potential licensees for technologies developed through the PVCROPS project.
