The five institutions comprise the Dublin Region Innovation Consortium (DRIC) which is funded by Enterprise Ireland to maximise the impact of research in each of the institutions. DIT Hothouse provides knowledge transfer and commercialisation support to all members of the consortium.

The DRIC Innovation Showcase will display and promote the latest research technologies emerging from each institution across the areas of ICT, Engineering, Clean Tech and Food & Life Science. Twenty-six research groups will be exhibiting over 60 new technologies and R&D capabilities, and researchers will be on hand to discuss collaboration, licensing as well as company spin-out opportunities.
