DIT President Prof. Brian Norton and Director of Research , Enterprise & Innovation Prof. Brian O’Neill welcomed the Ambassador and First Secretary to DIT’s newest building on the Grangegorman Campus The Greenway Hub which houses the Environmental Sustainabilty & Health Institute and the Hothouse Innovation Centre.
The Ambassador outlined the Chinese National development plan and strategy on innovation and entrepreneur ship and the opportunityies for Sino-Irish collaboration and development.
DIT Hothouse’s Innovation Centre Manager Ms. Bernadette O'Reilly presented to the Ambassador on DIT’s Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship programmes.
Entrepreneurs from the New Frontiers programme and Hothouse Alumnus Smarter Surfaces showcased their business to the Ambassador highlighting their success in Asia.
