Educated at the National University of Ireland in Maynooth, graduated in 2010 with a B.Sc. in Physics with Astrophysics. Worked as an intern during the summer of 2009 in the Centre of Industrial and Engineering Optics as part of an SFI-funded UREKA scheme, conducting research in the area of non-toxic photopolymer development. Graduated with a PhD in Optics and Material Science in February 2015

 

Research Interests

Current research work involves the development and holographic characterisation of new non-toxic holographic photopolymers, suitable for diverse holographic applications such as holographic sensing and data storage.
