Hélène MacElroy


Hélène MacElroy, 
BA /H Dip in English, MA in American studies, MA in French, teaches French on the B.Sc.Journalism with a Language and BA Media Arts programmes as well as the International Business programme. She was an assistant lecturer at the University of Missouri Columbia, and a tutor in the French department, UCD, before joining the School of Languages in DIT. She teaches French language, literature, culture and current affairs. Research interests: Nineteenth Century French civilization, particularly politics, media and society, and social trends in modern French society. Current research focuses on contemporary media and socio-political and cultural changes.
