DIT students have won the Royal Television Society (RTS) Undergraduate Award for Best Factual Programme. Entitled ‘Exotica’ the programme was produced and directed by DIT student Neasa de Barra as part of her final year DIT studies. The programme centres upon Collie Ennis, an obsessive collector of amphibians and reptiles.
Four other DIT student productions also received nominations for the Awards. The RTS Awards are the gold standard of achievement in the television community and recognise excellence across the entire range of programme making and broadcasting skills.
