Off the Street – Library Week in Kevin Street

The “Off the Street” programme will run each evening starting at 6.00pm on Monday 7th March through to Friday 11th March in DIT Kevin Street Library as part of Library Ireland Week. The series will open on the Monday with a dialogue between the visual work of Colm Desmond and the written word of poet and novelist Oran Ryan. This is followed on Tuesday by a open mike set of readings by established poets such as Eamonn Lynskey, Ross Hattaway , Raven and Karl Parkinson. The Wednesday will feature readings by Steve Conway while Gréagóir O Dúill the bilingual poet will take the stage on Thursday. The series will conclude on the Friday with additional readings by Oran Ryan and an opportunity to question Colm Desmond about his work.
