Three Visual Communications Design students in Luas Art Competition Finals

03 December 2013: Three Visual Communications Design students made the finals of the Luas Art Competition, including the overall winner Karl Brennan.
Karl, who is a fourth year Visual Communications student, won for his entry ‘Cave Predictions’. His idea was to incorporate the symbol for Luas into the style of cave paintings, playing on the competition theme, ‘The Future is Luas’.

Karl has won an annual Luas ticket, €1,000 and his winning entry will be displayed on Luas and featured in the Luas 2014 calendar.
Runners up included third year Visual Communications student Anna Niepsuj and DIT Visual Communications graduate Aisling McNamara.
