Dear Graduands

Firstly, congratulations! You have or are about to complete your studies at DIT.  You have worked hard and deserve to celebrate your accomplishments.  Your Graduation Day is a time to get together with classmates, colleagues, family and friends to celebrate your achievements and success.  This year almost four thousand DIT graduates will be conferred with their Awards in St Patricks Cathedral, Dublin.  The DIT Examination Offices will be in touch with all graduates closer to the date but in the meantime we’ve provided you with some information about the conferring ceremonies.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity wish you and your guests an enjoyable day!

Location of the Conferring Ceremony
The conferring ceremony will take place in St Patrick’s Cathedral, St Patrick’s Close, Dublin 8.  A map and directions are here.

Duration of the Conferring Ceremony
The ceremony will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes and will be followed by a reception in DIT Aungier Street.
