Supply chain: “Need to accelerate investment in transport”

Mr Tom Ferris, former President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT), delivered a very informative lecture on the ‘Need to accelerate Investment in Transport’ to DIT staff and students in Aungier Street in recognition of the recent European Supply Chain Day.

Formerly a Senior Economist in the Department of Transport and now an independent consultant, Tom Ferris has worked on projects for the World Bank, the OECD and a number of private sector companies.  He writes regularly on transport and public policy matters for the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and for Public Affairs Ireland.
