DIT hosts demonstration of Taiwanese cuisine in Cathal Brugha Street
Posted: 3 June, 2016To mark the 75th anniversary of Cathal Brugha Street and the development of educational collaboration with the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology and the Taipei Representative Office in Ireland hosted a demonstration of Taiwanese/Chinese Cookery and Fruit Carving.

The demonstration was presented by Kaohsiung University Professor Yi-chum Lee and Mr. Kuo-Chih Wen a top Taiwanese Chef. More than one hundred national and international visitors attended, including students, graduates, academics and industry representatives. Ambassador Simon S.K.Tu was guest of honour for the evening.
