Access to Apprenticeship Information Sessions

TU Dublin - City Campus is hosting two information sessions about its training programme Access to Apprenticeship on Tuesday, 26 February and Thursday, 7 March at 3:30 pm in Bolton Street.

Current students of Access to Apprenticeship learn about sheet metal work and industrial insulation.

Access to Apprenticeship Programme is for young men and women aged 16 to 24 living in Dublin who experience social and economic barriers. During the programme, students have a chance to:

  • Sample a range of apprenticeships in Construction, Engineering, Electrical, Motor and Aviation industries
  • Prepare their CV and practice their interview skills
  • Undertake two weeks of work experience 
  • Complete Health & Safety training and receive a Safe Pass Certificate

The programme is full-time, runs for 12 weeks and will commence in April 2019. Upon successful completion of the course, students will get the chance to progress onto a full-time apprenticeship training scheme in a variety of trades, including Electrical, Plumbing and Construction.
