General Data Protection Regulation

The GDPR Guidelines for Research Students explain how Technological University Dublin collects, uses and shares research students personal data. It also explains the student's rights in relation to the personal data we hold.

Emergency Funding

TU Dublin has limited funding accessible to students in emergency situations. There are two main schemes available for application:


Annual Graduate Research Symposium

The Graduate Research School at TU Dublin hosts an Annual Graduate Research Symposium every October/November. 

Research students from all three campuses are invited to submit a poster or make a presentation about their research grouped around the following four designated research themes:

  • Environment, Energy and Health
  • Information, Communication and Media Technologies
  • New Materials and Devices
  • Society, Culture and Enterprise. 

At the conclusion of the event, awards for the best presentation and the best poster are announced.
