RTÉ Brainstorm wants YOU!

14 November 2018

 DIT PhD Workshop
Wednesday 14 November, 2pm
GW402, Greenway Hub, DIT Grangegorman

RTÉ Brainstorm will hold a special workshop for DIT PhD students on Wednesday 14 November in DIT Grangegorman.

RTÉ Brainstorm editor Jim Carroll will talk about how the Brainstorm process works, and share insights on how to deal with the media, pitch stories to editors, find the news hook in your research, and write for a general mainstream audience.

This is also an exciting opportunity for you to talk to Jim about any story ideas you have for Brainstorm.

RTÉ Brainstorm is an online platform for academics and researchers to contribute to public debate and communicate fresh thinking about Ireland and the world. You can check out the excellent contributions by DIT colleagues on Brainstorm here, all of which have performed well, getting thousands of reads.

Registration is required - please register on Eventbrite

Please note this workshop is for DIT PhD students ONLY
