TU Dublin- City Campus Students Nominated for Digital Student of the Year

School of Marketing students Ryan O'Carroll and Orlagh Cramp recognised in the Digital Media Awards 2019.

Now in their 14th year, the Digital Media Awards are the most prestigious digital awards in Ireland. They recognise creativity and innovation across multiple areas of an ever-evolving sector which includes digital content creation, advertising and marketing, mobile media, social networking, app development, web design and development. 

Ryan O'Carroll is currenty in his final year studying for his Degree in Marketing and his entry was titled #AShowForTheBow- In memory of his mum, Ryan decided to select Purple House Cancer Support (PHCS) as his chosen brand. Through the lens of the RACE framework, #AShowForTheBow seeks to position PHCS as the market leaders within the philanthropic industry, but most importantly, raise much-needed funding for cancer research.

Orlagh Cramp is a student of the Masters in Digital Marketing and also a graduate of our Marketing degree programme, her entry was for a Social Media Campaign created for an Irish Distillery' - a social media strategy was created for Glendalough Distillery; a craft spirit brewery. The social media strategy involved two campaigns with the aim of building brand equity & brand awareness amongst their primary markets and increasing their social fans.

Previous success for TU Dublin- City Campus as Shane Downey from the Masters in Digital Marketing programme took home the winning title of Digital Student of the Year. in 2017.
