TU Dublin Take Home Bronze- NIBS Worldwide Case Competition 2019

College of Business is delighted to announce that four Marketing students have won bronze place in the the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS) International Case Study Competition 2019.

Four final year Marketing students Alyson O' Connell, Lisa O' Rourke, Ryan O' Carroll and Rebecca Nash represented TU Dublin at the NIBS Worldwide Case Competition 2019 led by coach Roger Sherlock , Assistant Head- School of Marketing.

Over the course of a week, the team competed against their rivals from across the globe, completing complex and varied case studies and were required to analyse and solve complex international strategic business cases within a tight timeframe. They then presented their recommendations to a panel of judges comprised of senior industry professionals, policymakers and academics and defended their chosen strategies in the Q&A sessions. Throughout the week, host university, Prince Edward Island University organised an excellent cultural programme introducing the visiting team to Charlottetown and the surrounding area.

The University of Guelph-Humber, Canada were announced as overall winners,  Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences received the silver medal and TU Dublin received bronze medal. 

Team member and Marketing degree student Alyson O' Connell said ''We’re absolutely delighted with the results. It was a week we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives and we’re made friendship from across the globe.''
