ESHI

The Environmental Sustainability and Health Institute (ESHI) is an all-island translational research centre that is dedicated to studying the interactions between environment and health in the areas of Energy, Food, Policy, Lifestyle, Water, Bio-monitoring. Central to ESHI’s mission is an interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral approach, focused on generating collective responses to public health issues. The overarching mission is to achieve healthier lives for children, the elderly and vulnerable populations. ESHI is a collaboration between DIT, the Health Service Executive (HSE) and Dublin City Council (DCC).

DIT Hothouse

DIT Hothouse is the award-winning Innovation and Technology Transfer Office at Dublin Institute of Technology, responsible for the commercialisation of intellectual property arising from DIT research. The DIT Hothouse New Frontiers Programme provides an incubation centre for innovative and promising start-up companies. DIT Hothouse has a range of spin-out technologies available to industry across Life Sciences, Food, Information & Communications Technology, Software, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing and Clean Technologies.
