Dublin Institute of Technology offers a range of pathway programmes for international students who need to further develop their English and/or academic skills prior to commencing their undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD studies at DIT. All the programmes are delivered at 41 Mountjoy Square, DIT Campus, Dublin 1.
Upon successful completion of the pathway programmes :
- You are guaranteed a place on your undergraduate /postgraduate programme of choice at DIT
- You are not required to take any further IELTS/TOEFL exam
- You will be equipped with the langauge and academic skills and strategies to be successful on your destination programme

With over 300 different programmes across its 4 colleges, and 25 Schools DIT offers a diverse range of specialised programmes, in some cases programmes unique to DIT, and often created and adjusted to meet current industry needs.
The DIT adopts the most up to date learning and teaching practices and encourages all academic staff to undertake ongoing training in Academic Communication, New Technologies, Promoting Student Engagement and Enhancing Academic Practice. This is all delivered through our dedicated Learning, Teaching and Technology Centre. We also boast an excellent student-staff ratio with average class sizes of 35 students. As well as a dedicated International Student Experience Officer in the International Office, all registered students have access to dedicated support services to help them personally as well as academically through their degree in DIT. In our recent international student departure survey 98% of International students agreed that DIT Lecturers were helpful and friendly.
